Too Busy to Publish Content?
A long time ago, I attended a stock trading seminar where I learned a valuable lesson that I later applied to content marketing.
When revealing his trading system, the guru used the metaphor of a dumb monkey.
He said that you need to have a system that’s so simple that even a dumb monkey can press a button and buy.
Content works the same way.
You need to have a clean framework that strips away all complications and simplifies to hitting ‘publish’.
That’s what we do with our clients’ marketing calendar.
It takes a client’s internal team about 30 minutes a month to publish content.
That’s a minute of work per day.
I’d suggest that you build a system that works for you and not the other way round.
You need to make it so simple that anyone in your company can use it to publish content.
There are all sorts of ways to do this, some requiring even less work.
For example, you can upload your content in bulk to Sendible or Hootsuite to eliminate manual uploads.
All in all, the most important thing when it comes to publishing content is a well-developed system. It can help you stay consistent without having to put in a ton of effort.
