The “Instant USP” – just do this.

 

As you may know, USP means “unique selling proposition”. 

It’s what differentiates you from your competition. 

There are many ways to create compelling USPs. Some are relatively easy. Others are more complicated. 

In today’s email I’m going to show you the easiest of all. This one really works! 

We have a client that was in the armed forces. 

He’s made a business out of selling wealth building programs to…

… yep, you guessed it, people in the armed forces. 

This is a nifty idea that instantly differentiates him. 

Why? Because his audience will relate to him. And he can relate to his audience. 

I’m pretty sure he’s also the ONLY guy in the country that’s carved out this particular positioning. 

THE PROBLEM

Only problem is this USP is not defendable. Anybody else in the armed forces can choose to step and sell to his audience. 

The moment that happens, our client is in trouble. 

Which is why this USP can work great… until someone copies. 

And thus lies one of the key secrets to a great USP – others shouldn’t be able to easily copy it.
