Fast way to create content
The “secret” in this email is an oldie, but a goodie.
I was in a meeting recently with a company who wanted lots of content produced on a tight deadline.
An unfeasible deadline, really.
So I asked these folks…
“Is there somebody in the office who is a content master? Specifically, someone who knows their subject so well… that… if you ask them a question, they can answer without prep?”
Their response: “Sure… our founder.”
“Great”, I said. “To create this content in the timeframe you need it, here’s what you do: 1. Prepare 10 questions 2. Set up a Zoom call 3. Ask the founder these questions over Zoom.”
Now, with the recording you have:
- Video content
- Transcripts to turn into emails… social posts and articles.
Like I said, this “secret” is an oldie but a goodie.
Why am I sharing it if it’s an “oldie”? Because I speak to dozens of companies each month about their content.
And I can count on ONE hand the number of companies pumping out content in this way!
Which means almost nobody is doing it.
Fact is, unless you have a content team like ours – who manage everything – there’s no faster way than answering questions on camera.
Especially if you know your subject cold.
Sure, you still have to edit the videos. And yes, you have to turn the transcripts into emails… social posts and articles.
I didn’t say this technique was a magic bullet.
There’s work.
But it’s fastest way I’ve found – if you don’t have a content team doing it for you.
