Are you struggling to gain visibility on social media?
Even if you’re not, you can never get enough attention.
As you know, there are a great number of ways to attract more views. For now, I’m going to talk about one that you probably haven’t thought of.
This is actually something that might be costing you attention!
Ever heard of banner blindness?
Old-school direct response marketers know what I’m talking about.
It’s pretty simple:
The longer you use the same creative, the easier it is for people to ignore it. Eventually, they’re so used to seeing it that they won’t even notice it.
This readily carries over to social media.
If your posts look similar, people will stop paying attention.
Not because the content is bad or anything. Their minds will just skip over them.
Luckily, there’s a quick fix for this.
All you have to do is change up your creative a bit every time you post something.
You don’t have to make any big changes. In many cases, simply changing the color scheme will be enough.
The point is to keep your creative fresh. That’s going to grab people’s attention much more easily.
