Creating Podcast Content

I’m going to give you a piece of advice that you probably expected:

If you have a podcast, do interviews. It’s a quick and easy way to create podcast content.

However, there’s a twist here that you need to pay attention to.

You can’t just do any interviews. You have to be smart with your guest list.

For example, we have two clients who are in the education business.

One of them seems to really have got it made. He has a massive following and a huge ad budget. But he doesn’t have the time to create podcasts.

The other client isn’t that prolific and has significantly lower numbers.

Both have big ideas and huge opportunities, but they’re not taking advantage of them.

The advice I gave both of them was simple:

Interview your students.

I told them to invite their best students and have a talk with them. Have the students tell their story… share their advice.

Have the students share their journey and what they’re working on now.

Please listen to me…

Nothing is as powerful than being able to show the results you get for people.

And in a podcast context, interviewing students is a GREAT idea. It’s also a GREAT time saver.
