Since content marketing can take a lot of effort, it’s normal to wonder if the effort will pay off.

Right off the bat, I’ll tell you that almost nothing performs as well as amazing content.

  • A report from Demand Gen says that 47% of buyers view somewhere between 3 and 5 pieces of content before they contact a sales rep.
  • Better yet, Demand Metric showed that you spend 62% less with content marketing than you do with traditional marketing. And that lower spend generates three times more leads!
  • HubSpot’s study further proves content marketing’s traffic generating power. It showed that companies that put out 16 blog posts per month have 3.5 times more traffic than those that publish 0-4.

But what about conversions? After all, isn’t that the whole reason why you even create content?

Well, check this out… 

Aberdeen shows that conversion rates for content marketing adopters are almost six times higher than others. They have a conversion rate of 2.9% on average, while non-adopters clock in at just 0.5%.
