Does Great Writing Equal Success?

Content creators often believe that they need to tweak a content piece to perfection. And they can get all caught up in the correct usage of nouns and verbs.

Here’s the thing…

Don’t worry about it!

As my former copywriting mentor Gary Halbert says:

‘It’s not important how you say it. It’s important WHAT you say.’

Content marketers often forget about the marketing part altogether. Sometimes the “grammar police” come out in full force and scrutinise details that don’t matter.

This can happen when we work with clients who have fellow writers approving our content.

All too often, we run into issues. That’s because they get too bogged down in things that don’t relate to creating persuasive content.

We’ve even stopped working with those clients as it gets too painful!

This doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t care about your writing style and grammar.

It simply means that you shouldn’t prioritise them.

The most important thing is for your content to speak to your audience the right way.

Other than that, you’ll be much better off focusing on the message that you’re trying to get across.
