Repurposing content has amazing leverage!
But getting more bang for your buck may seem like a daunting task.
Here are a couple of quick and easy ways to simplify the process.
Let’s say you’re producing lots of video content. One of the most useful formats for repurposing video content is the Q and A.
First, it makes it so easy to edit. That’s because each question can be cut into its own separate piece of content.
This makes it a clear and easy guideline for your video editor to follow.
So, if you have 10 questions, that can break down into 10 separate pieces for use in emails, social posts, and even infographics.
Next, let’s talk about articles.
One of the most useful things you can include in ALL your articles are tips. One reason is people love reading tips. The other reason is it makes it much easier to repurpose content.
With our clients, we use tips intentionally with our content. So, a very standard format is we open up with a story that gets our audience emotional.
Then we segue to 3-5 tips as demonstration proof.
This setup helps with repurposing down the line.
You just have to tell your team that each tip now is a standalone email. That email then becomes a standalone video. And then the video turns into a standalone social post!
