The Subconscious

Today I want to talk about something a little different.

Many times over the years, I’ve had business partners, clients, friends, and even family comment on my levels of productivity.

Now, that’s not ego.

That’s a fact.

Though, having said that, I am always fighting my own procrastination demons lol.

I think I’m mostly productive because of my intention.

And that intention begins on Sunday night… to plan for the week. And each evening before I hit the sack – I know what the first 3 to 4 hours of morning looks like.

Always.

This allows my subconscious to sleep on it and solve problems for me.

So, the night before I will check my schedule for the next day and I’ll see what’s coming up. I do this to get clear on the key things that I’m looking at for each meeting.

I also visualise the meeting going well and so forth.

Again, I do this because I want to feed my subconscious before I go to sleep. I want to give my subconscious time to work on any questions, issues, or challenges I may perceive.

And sometimes – oftentimes – I wake up with an insight that I didn’t have before.
